✨ Kitchen Transformation Highlights
From Heavy & Outdated to Bright & Modern
The original kitchen featured dark wood cabinets paired with black countertops and a retro patterned backsplash — creating a visually heavy, dated atmosphere. As the client put it simply: “Too old-fashioned — I don’t like it.”
Our goal was clear: open up the space, increase functionality, and create a bright, modern kitchen that feels timeless rather than trendy.
👷♂️ Here’s what we did to transform the space:
✅ Replaced all cabinetry with pre-finished White Shaker cabinets — instantly brightening the entire room and creating a clean design foundation
✅ Extended upper cabinets to the ceiling — maximizing storage, eliminating dust-collecting gaps, and delivering a streamlined, built-in look
✅ Installed a full quartz countertop wrap on the island with precise 45-degree waterfall edges — giving the illusion of a sculpted stone block
✅ Upgraded to hidden handles and warm brass knobs — small details with major impact, balancing modern simplicity with subtle sophistication
✅ Removed ornate trims and decorative pillars — transitioning the space from American vintage to sleek, modern minimalism
The result is a bright, functional, and visually elevated kitchen that feels both timeless and current — a true reflection of modern living.
